As a child, I was very creative. I sketched and painted. At sixteen I was encouraged to do an Art Foundation course with the intention of becoming a potter.

When I discovered glass that all changed. The textures, colours, and rhythms of nature are what fill my work.

I think people know my glass instantly, for the palette of colours, the rich textures, and the motifs of sand, sky, and sea.

In 2016, inspired by many late nights in their beachside bar, the three Thompson brothers put their heads together to create a liquor company that had flavour, quality and original character at its heart – and St Ives Liquor Co was born.

Now whether it’s the fresh botanicals picked from St Ives’ coastlines, moors and cliff tops for their small batch, handcrafted gin, or their vibrant range of liqueurs made from entirely natural ingredients, St Ives Liquor Co is bringing a new spirit experience to each and every sip.

I’m Sadie and I own the South Crofty Collection. Being born and brought up in Cornwall, when the opportunity to purchase the South Crofty Collection came up in 2020 I jumped at the chance. I continue to use traditional methods to make each individual piece of jewellery and giftware.

I feel very lucky to be able to hand craft jewellery from such a unique material in such a beautiful location.

Louise Daykin Prints

Hi I’m Louise, owner and designer at Louise Daykin Prints.

I’ve lived in Cornwall since graduating in Illustration at Falmouth. Originally specialising in children’s books, I illustrated for publishers such as Scholastic, Oxford University Press, Mantra, Folens and Unicef.

I have two energetic boys and trade at local shops, craft fairs, markets and take commissions rather than working for art directors! Now I love to work with lino, creating artwork and textiles inspired by Cornwall, my family, and the Coast.
